Is CareCredit accepted at all Walmart locations?
Yes, you can use your CareCredit credit card for qualifying, in-store purchases at all Walmart Store locations, including Walmart Supercenters and Neighborhood Markets, across the United States (does not include Gas Stations or Walmart.com). Search for your nearest location here.
What can I purchase with my CareCredit credit card at Walmart?
Your CareCredit credit card can be used to pay for health, wellness and personal care items. This means you can use your card in the following departments: Remember, when checking out use your CareCredit credit card as your first method of payment to capture qualifying health, wellness and personal care items.
Can I pay for Walmart items online, through the mobile app, by mail or phone with my CareCredit credit card?
No. Only in-store purchases are allowed on the CareCredit credit card at this time.
What if I have items in my basket that are not health and wellness related?
At checkout, once all your items have been scanned, use your CareCredit credit card first. Qualifying health and wellness items will be automatically charged to your CareCredit credit card. You will then be prompted to use another payment method to purchase your remaining items.
What happens if I purchase something from Walmart with my CareCredit credit card and need to return the item?
Refunds or returns at Walmart will follow the standard Walmart policies and will be credited to the CareCredit credit card account that was used for the sales transaction. The card that was used in the transaction will need to be present.
Can I pay my CareCredit bill within a Walmart location?
No, all CareCredit payments must be made directly to Synchrony Bank. Click here for more information on managing your account.
Can I only use my CareCredit card to check out at registers in the Health, Wellness, Beauty & Baby departments referenced above?
No. You can use your CareCredit credit card for your qualifying purchases at any register in the Walmart store.
Is promotional financing available on purchases at Walmart?
No, Walmart purchases do not qualify for promotional financing on your CareCredit credit card. (However, there are select vision centers within Walmart which are owned and operated by National Vision, Inc. that do offer promotional financing through CareCredit — please ask the vision center representative.)
Do I need to have my CareCredit credit card present with me to make a transaction?
Yes, you will need to have your card physically present.
